HOPE Christian Fellowship is a multi-cultural, community-based, globally minded church located in the culturally diverse San Gabriel Valley in Southern California. While genuine community becomes increasingly hard to achieve in our ever-changing world, we build community through home-based small groups known as HOPE Groups. In these small groups, people find healing, learn about God, and together serve their community. We envision the day when more than one hundred HOPE Groups will actively serve thousands of people throughout the San Gabriel Valley.
Our Mission is to empower people from many cultures to impact the world by providing hope, help and community through authentic relationships with Jesus Christ and each other.
We are a fairly new church. In 1997, HOPE Christian Fellowship was planted by Sierra Madre Congregational Church. We started with Pastor Jeff Bassette, a core group of about 25 adults, and a handful of children. Today, over 200 adults and children from many cultures and backgrounds attend HOPE Christian Fellowship. It’s exciting to see all that God has done and we look forward with anticipation to what God will do in the years ahead.
