Children's Ministry
At HOPE we value providing an accepting place for children to grow spiritually closer to God and others. Children experience age-appropriate Bible lessons, worship, and activities taught by a caring and engaging children's team. It is our hope the children will go home able to share with their families what God is teaching them on Sunday morning.
Our curriculum is designed for each age level to study the same weekly Bible passage. We use FaithWeaver Sunday School and Kids Own Worship by Group publishing. You can find the faithweaver scope and sequence at http://group.com/sunday-school/scope-and-sequence.
HOPE's Children's Ministry spans from 2 months to 6th grade and provides two Sunday morning classes. Children may attend one or both. Our mission is to assist families in growing life long disciples of Christ by creating a place of community, discipleship, and evangelism.
9am Kid's Worship
Our Kid's Worship Program is for 2 years - 6th Grade and includes an outdoor play time, Kid's Worship, a short Bible lesson, and prayer groups.
9am Classes:
2-5 year olds
K-6th Grade Classes
10:30am Sunday School
Bible lessons are taught in age-appropriate ways that help children to apply the lesson in their everyday lives.
10:30am Classes:
Nursery/Toddler Class: 2 months through 2 years.
3 & 4 year olds
Prek/Kindergarten Class
1st/2nd Grade
3rd/4th Grade
5th/6th Grade
Mulitgenerational Service
Occasionally throughout the year we include elementary children in our adult service. This is an opportunity for adults to model the value of worship to the next generation. Children may not understand all of the message but they will be learning as they participate with the adults they admire. There are optional children's classes for kids 5 and under on these Sundays.
