At HOPE we value providing an accepting place for children to grow spiritually closer to God and others. Children experience age-appropriate Bible lessons, worship, and activities taught by a caring and engaging children's team. It is our hope the children will go home able to share with their families what God is teaching them on Sunday morning.
Our curriculum is is called tru. Each week families can pick up a copy of the homefront weekly. It is also emailed to families on our roster. The homefront weekly is a resource designed to allow your family to have time in God's Word before your children attend church. We work on one Remember Verse for four weeks and encourage children to commit the verse to memory by the fourth week.
HOPE's Children's Ministry spans from 2 months to 6th grade and provides two Sunday morning classes. Both services cover the same lesson but taught in different ways. Our morning is designed to accommodate children who attend either one or both services.
Classes offered during the 9:00am Service:
1 to 3 year olds
1st-6th Grade Class
Classes offered during the 10:30am Service:
Nursery/Toddler Class: 2 months to 2 years.
Occasionally throughout the year we include elementary children in our adult service. This is an opportunity for adults to model the value of worship to the next generation. It also allows families to experience communion together. Nursery-Kindergarten classes are still offered on these Sundays.
